USCIS announces new processing times for Guatemalan orphan adoption petitions

The USCIS issued a statement on May 17, 2007 announcing new processing times for Guatemalan orphan petitions.  The USCIS office in Guatemala will now take up to 60 days to review initial documents and up to four business days to review final adoption documents.   A copy of the full statement can be found on the Guatadopt website:   http://www.guatadopt.com/archives/GuatemalanAdoptions051707.pdf
